WE PRESENT THE ONLY WINE THAT WAS BORN IN A BOOKA cellar-worthy Mencía wine, aged in clay amphorae for 9 months, followed by 31 months in tank and a minimum of 24 months in bottle—unhurried, before its release to the market. The result is a warm, structured, and highly enjoyable wine.
Its time in amphora provides remarkable aromatic openness, where notes of ripe red fruit stand out alongside subtle mineral hints. On the palate, it offers a silky texture and an exceptionally well-balanced finish.

Ribeira Sacra has captivated one of the most influential chefs in the world. Gordon Ramsay—an international reference in haute cuisine and host of Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted (known in Spain as Fuera de Carta)—visited the Vía Romana winery (Chantada) during the filming of the episode “The Galician Coast,” recently released on Disney+ in collaboration with National Geographic.
